The Northville Commons - Farmers’ Market Consortium was organized under the Urban Cooperation Act of 1967, as amended, allowing the City of Northville and the Charter Township of Northville to enter into an intergovernmental agreement for the purchase of property and to relocate the beloved Farmer’s Market to its permanent location at 550 West Seven Mile Road. 

The Consortium is managed by a board of four members, two from each municipality, including:

Chair – Brian Turnbull, City Mayor
Vice Chair – Mark J. Abbo, Township Supervisor
Secretary – Cynthia L. Jankowski, Township Clerk
Treasurer – George Lahanas, City Manager

The prime responsibility of The Consortium is to operate the Farmers’ Market, as well as special events which may be approved on the property in the future.
