Summer tax bills: Property taxes may be paid online or at Township Hall beginning July 1. Tax bills typically arrive in homes during the first full week of July. If you have not received your tax bill by mid-July, please contact the Treasurer’s Office at (248) 348-5810 to request a copy. Summer taxes are payable without interest until 5:00 pm on September 15, 2025. For payments made after 5:00 pm September 15, the following interest schedule applies:

Winter tax bills
: Winter taxes may be paid online or at Township Hall beginning December 1. Tax bills typically arrive in homes during the first full week of December. If you have not received your tax bill by mid-December, please contact the Treasurer’s Office at (248) 348-5810 to request a copy. Winter taxes are payable without penalty until 5:00 pm on February 17, 2026

All remaining tax balances: will have a 3% penalty added after 5:00 pm February 17, 2026. Northville Township can accept payment until 5:00 pm March 2, 2026. Tax payments after March 2 are made payable only to Wayne County Treasurer, except Personal Property Taxes (businesses only) should continue to be paid to Northville Township. After March 2nd, Personal Property Taxes must be paid to Northville Township Hall Located at 44405 Six Mile Rd, Northville, MI 48168 by either mailing a check or paying in person (cash or check only). 

Pursuant to the State of Michigan General Property Tax Act 206 MCL211.44, we cannot waive interest for any reason. In accordance with Northville Township Board Policy, penalties cannot be waived. 

Note: All tax bills are mailed out at the same time by first class mail.  Failure to receive your tax bill does not exempt you from interest/penalties. It is your responsibility to ensure that your taxes are paid each year.
