If you are moving, please call Water Billing a few days before your closing at (248) 348-5820. A final meter reading will be scheduled with our technicians.  You will not need to be home for the reading as we will obtain a radio read of the meter.  This will establish the end date for the previous occupant and the start date for the new occupant.

Information needed to schedule a final meter reading:

• Requestor's name and phone number
• Service address
• New owner's name, if known
• Date of meter read
• Information for where to send final bill (i.e. Mailing Address, Fax #, or Email)

Please allow up 7 to 10 business days after the meter read date for the final bill to be mailed, faxed or emailed. A Final Meter Reading fee of $25.00 will be applied to Final bills.
