You may now manage your online payments and account activity through BS&A Payments using the BS&A Online portal.

Please select the instructions below based on the action you would like to complete:

BS&A Account Management

An account is required to use AutoPay, Paperless Billing, Scheduled Payments and to manage payment methods. You only need to create ONE account to access all of the following:
• Utility Billing (Water & Sewer)
• Summer & Winter Taxes
• Building Invoices
• Accounts Receivable Invoices

Create a BS&A Online Account

Step 1: Go to the Payment Portal
Visit the payment portal website at go.northvilletownshipmi.gov/Pay
Click “Currently Not Signed In” in the upper-right corner, then select “Register.”

Step 2: Enter Your Information
Enter a Username, Email Address and Password.
Check “I agree to the BS&A Online Terms of Use”.
Complete the “I’m not a robot” verification.
Click “Create Account”.

Step 3: Check Your Email
You will receive an email from BS&A Online.
Click the link in the email to activate your account.

Step 4: Activate Your Account
Click “Activate Account” to complete your registration.

Step 5: Sign In
Return to the portal and sign in using your Username and Password.

Step 6: Save for Future Use
Bookmark the payment portal website: go.northvilletownshipmi.gov/Pay for easy access in the future.

Update BS&A Online Account Email

Update your BS&A Online account email and other account information by following the steps below:

Step 1: Sign In
Visit go.northvilletownshipmi.gov/Pay.
Click “Currently Not Signed In” (top right), then click “Sign In.”

Enter your Username and Password, then click “Sign In”.

Step 2: Update Account Email
Click “My Account,” then select “Account Settings”.
Enter your new email address

A confirmation message will appear indicating your account settings have been saved and your email has been updated

AutoPay

You must have a BS&A Online account to enroll in AutoPay.
If needed, please refer to the Create a BS&A Online Account instructions above.

Choose the option that applies to you:

First-time user
Use this option if you have not made an online payment through your BS&A account for the bill you want to set up for AutoPay.

Returning user
Use this option if you have already made an online payment through your BS&A account for the bill you want to set up for AutoPay.

Set Up AutoPay while making a payment
Use this option if you are currently making a payment and would like to set up AutoPay during the payment process.

Enroll in AutoPay (First-Time User)

Step 1: Sign In
Visit go.northvilletownshipmi.gov/Pay.
Click “Currently Not Signed In” (top right), then click “Sign In.”

Step 2: Select Your Bill Type
Click the “Pay” button.

Select Bill
Select your bill type (example: Utility Billing).

Step 3: Find Your Bill
Search by Location ID (Account Number) or by Address.
To search by Location ID: Enter your Account Number as shown On YOUR BILL.

Step 4: Review Your Bill
Confirm details then Click “Review and Pay”.

Step 5: Enroll in Autopay
Click “Enroll in Autopay.”

Step 6: Add Payment Method
Select a saved payment method, or “Add New Payment Method”.

Method 1: Select a saved payment method, then skip adding a new one.

Method 2: Enter a new payment method
Enter your payment information using either a U.S. Bank Account or a Credit/Debit Card.

Option 1: US Bank Account (No third-party fee when using a checking or savings account)

Click “US bank account”
Enter your full name and email.

To connect your bank account automatically:

Search for or select your bank. (Example: Chase)

Click “Agree and Continue”

Click “Continue” to proceed.

You will be redirected to your bank’s website.
Enter your bank username and password and follow the prompts to complete the connection.

To enter bank information manually:
Please ensure bank account information is entered accurately. Payments returned due to incorrect banking information will be subject to a $25 returned payment fee.

Enter your full name and email.
Click “Enter bank details manually.”

Enter your routing number and account number.
Confirm your account number, then click “Submit"

Enter your billing address information, then click “Save Payment Method”.

Option 2: Credit/Debit Card (2.8% + $0.50 per transaction; service fee collected by a third party)

Click “Card”, then enter credit/debit card information.

Enter your billing address information, then click “Save Payment Method”.

Step 7: Enter Your Account PIN
Enter your Account PIN (PIN # located on your bill).

Step 8: Set Notifications
Choose your notification preferences.
Click “Save Changes.”

Step 9: Confirmation
Click “Close” on the confirmation message.

Enroll in AutoPay (While Making a Payment)

Step 1: Sign In

Step 2: Select Your Bill Type
Click the “Pay” button.

Select your bill type (example: Utility Billing).

Step 3: Find Your Bill
Search by Location ID (Account Number) or by Address.
To search by Location ID: Enter your Account Number as shown On YOUR BILL.

To search by Address: Enter your Address.

Step 4: Review Your Bill
Confirm details then Click “Review and Pay”.

Step 5: Choose Payment Amount
Enter amount or select “Pay in Full”, then click “Pay Now”.

Step 6: Enable Automatic Payments
Check “Enable Automatic Payments”

Step 7: Select Payment Method
Select a saved payment method, or “Enter New Payment Method”.

To connect your bank account automatically:

Search for or select your bank. (Example: Chase Bank)

Click “Agree and Continue”
Click “Continue” to proceed.
You will be redirected to your bank’s website.
Enter your bank username and password and follow the prompts to complete the connection.

Click “Enter bank details manually.”
Enter your routing number and account number.
Confirm your account number, then click “Submit”.
Enter your billing address information, then click “Submit Payment”.

Option 2: Credit/Debit Card (2.8% + $0.50 per transaction; service fee collected by a third party)

Click “Card”, then enter email and credit/debit card information.
Enter your billing address information, then click “Submit Payment”.

Step 8: Payment and AutoPay Confirmation
A confirmation screen will show that your payment was successful.

1) Email from noreply@bsaonline.com confirming your AutoPay enrollment.

Step 2: Go to Your Bills
Click “My Account,” then select “Bills”.
Find the bill you want to enroll in AutoPay and click “Enroll in Autopay”.

Step 3: Choose Payment & Notifications
Select a saved payment method, or “Add New Payment Method”.

Method 1: Select a saved payment method, then skip adding a new one.

Method 2: Enter a new payment method
Enter your payment information using either a U.S. Bank Account or a Credit/Debit Card.

Step 4: Set Notifications

Click “Close” on the message.

Manage AutoPay (First-Time User)

Step 1: Sign In
Visit go.northvilletownshipmi.gov/Pay.
Click “Currently Not Signed In,” then click “Sign In.”

Enter your Username and Password, and click “Sign In”.

Step 2: Select Your Bill Type
Click the “Pay” button.
Select Bill

Select your bill type (example: Utility Billing).
Select Bill 2

Step 3: Find Your Bill
Search by Location ID (Account Number) or by Address.
To search by Location ID: Enter your Account Number as shown On YOUR BILL.

To search by Address: Enter your Address.

Step 4: Review Your Bill
Confirm details then Click “Review and Pay”.

Step 5: Manage Autopay
Click “Manage Autopay.”

Step 6: Update or Turn Off
Click “Turn Off Autopay” OR Update your payment method and notification settings.
Click “Save Changes.”

Step 7: Confirm Changes
If you see “Enroll in Autopay,” Autopay is turned off.

If you made updates to AutoPay, you would receive the message below. Click on “Close”

Click “Manage Autopay” again anytime to review your settings.

Manage AutoPay (Returning User)

Step 1: Sign In
Visit go.northvilletownshipmi.gov/Pay.
Click “Currently Not Signed In” (top right), then click “Sign In.”

Enter your Username and Password then click “Sign In”.

Step 2: Manage Autopay
Click “My Account,” then select “Bills.”
Find the bill you want to update AutoPay for.

To cancel AutoPay, click “Cancel”.

Click “Yes” on the confirmation message.

To update AutoPay, click “Edit”.

Update your payment method or notification settings as needed, then click “Save Changes.”

You will receive the message below. Click “Close”.

Step 4: Confirm Changes
AutoPay is turned off when “Enroll in Autopay” appears again.

To confirm your changes, click “Edit.”

One-Time Payment

Make a Payment Without a BS&A Online Account

Step 1: Go to the Payment Website
Visit: go.northvilletownshipmi.gov/Pay
Click the “Pay →” button.

Step 2: Select Your Bill Type
Choose the type of bill you want to pay (Example: Utility Billing).

Step 3: Find Your Bill
Search by Location ID (Account Number) or by Address.
To search by Location ID: Enter your Account Number as shown On YOUR BILL.

To search by Address: Enter your Address.

Step 4: Review Your Bill
Confirm details then Click “Review and Pay”.

Step 5: Choose Payment Amount
Enter amount or select “Pay in Full”, then click “Pay Now”.

Step 6: Continue as Guest
Click “Continue as Guest” if you do not have an account.

Step 7: Enter Payment Information
Enter your payment information using either a U.S. Bank Account or a Credit/Debit Card.

Click "US bank account"
Enter your full name and email address.

To connect your bank account automatically:

Paperless Billing Management

You must have a BS&A Online account to enroll in/edit/cancel Water and Sewer (W&S) Paperless Billing.
If needed, please refer to the Create a BS&A Online Account instructions above.

Choose the option that applies to you:

First-time user
To enroll in Paperless Billing, you must complete a payment. Enrollment will be completed as part of the payment process.

Returning user
Use this option if you have already made an online payment through your BS&A account for the bill you want to set up for Paperless Billing.

Enroll or Update Paperless Billing Without Making an Online Payment

Use the form below if:

You enrolled in Paperless Billing before May 28, 2026 and need to update your Paperless Billing email address; or
You would like to enroll in Paperless Billing but do not wish to make an online payment.

Enroll in W&S Paperless Billing (First-Time User)

Step 1: Sign In
Visit go.northvilletownshipmi.gov/Pay.
Click “Currently Not Signed In” (top right), then click “Sign In.”

Enter your Username and Password, then click “Sign In”.

Step 2: Select Your Bill Type
Click the “Pay” button.
Select Bill

Select Utility Billing.
Select Bill 2

Step 3: Find Your Bill
Search by Location ID (Account Number) or by Address.
To search by Location ID: Enter your Account Number as shown On Your Bill.

To search by Address: Enter your Address.

Step 4: Review Your Bill
Confirm details then Click “Review and Pay”.

Step 5: Complete Payment
Enter your payment amount and click “Pay Now."

Verify details and click “Submit Payment.”

Step 6: Enroll in Paperless Billing
Before enrolling in Paperless Billing, the system will ask whether you would like to enroll in AutoPay. Select “No” to continue with Paperless Billing enrollment.

After payment confirmation, click “Enroll in Paperless Billing.”

Step 7: Enter Information
Enter the name exactly as it appears on your bill (example: Occupant).
Click “Submit”.

A confirmation message will appear.

Click “Save Changes.”

Cancel or Edit W&S Paperless Billing

Step 1: Sign In
Visit go.northvilletownshipmi.gov/Pay.
Click “Currently Not Signed In” (top right), then click “Sign In.”

Enter your Username and Password then Click “Sign In”.

Step 2: Go to Paperless Settings
Click “My Account,” then select “Bills.”
Find the bill you want to update Paperless Billing Settings for.
Click “Edit Paperless”

If you don’t see “Edit Paperless”, click “…” then select “Edit Paperless”

Step 3: Update/Cancel Paperless Setting

To Update:

Delete the existing email and enter the new email address.
Click “Save Changes.”

To Cancel:

Uncheck “Use Paperless Billing,” then click “Save Changes.”

Create Payment Methods

Step 1: Sign In
Visit go.northvilletownshipmi.gov/Pay.
Click “Currently Not Signed In” (top right), then click “Sign In.”

Enter your Username and Password, then click “Sign In”.

Step 2: Create New Payment Method
Click “My Account,” then select “Payment Preferences.” Click “New Payment Method.”

Enter your payment information using either a U.S. Bank Account or a Credit/Debit Card.

Click “US bank account”.
Enter your full name and email.

Step 5: Set a Default Payment Method
Click the three-dot menu (…) next to the payment method you want to use as your default.
Click “Make default”

Update Payment Methods

Please note: Saved payment methods cannot be edited directly. To update a saved payment method, delete the old method and add a new one.

Step 1: Sign In
Visit go.northvilletownshipmi.gov/Pay.
Click “Currently Not Signed In” (top right), then click “Sign In.”
Sign in

Enter your Username and Password, then click “Sign In”.

Step 2: Delete the Existing Payment Method
Click “My Account,” then select “Payment Preferences” to see the payment methods stored in your account.

Click the three-dot menu ( … ) next to the payment method you want to remove, then click “Delete".

A confirmation message will appear. Click “Remove Payment Method” to continue.

A confirmation message will appear when your payment method has been removed.

Scheduling Payments

A BS&A Online account is required to schedule future payments. If needed, please refer to the Create a BS&A Online Account instructions above.

Schedule Future Payment

Step 1: Sign In
Visit go.northvilletownshipmi.gov/Pay.
Click “Currently Not Signed In” (top right), then click “Sign In.”

Enter your Username and Password, then click on “Sign In”.

Step 2: Select Your Bill Type
Click the “Pay” button.
Select Bill

Select your bill type (example: Utility Billing).
Select Bill 2

Step 3: Find Your Bill
Search by Location ID (Account Number) or by Address.
To search by Location ID: Enter your Account Number as shown On YOUR BILL.

To search by Address: Enter your Address.

Step 4: Review Your Bill
Confirm details then Click “Review and Pay”.

Step 5: Enter Payment Amount and Enable Scheduled Payment
Enter the amount you want to schedule the payment for in the “Amount to Pay” field.
Turn on the “Schedule Payment” option at the bottom of the page.
Click “Pay Now.”

Step 6: Set Payment Details
Select a saved payment method, or “Add New Payment Method”.

Step 8: Set up payment frequency
Select your payment frequency, such as One-Time, Monthly, or Quarterly.
Select your first payment date.
(Optional) Set an end date.
Click “Schedule Payment.”

Step 7: Confirmation
You will see a confirmation message that your payment has been scheduled.

Delete or Update Scheduled Payment

To make changes to your scheduled payments, you need to delete the existing scheduled payment and create a new one.

Step 1: Sign In
Visit go.northvilletownshipmi.gov/Pay.
Click “Currently Not Signed In” (top right), then click “Sign In.”

Enter your Username and Password, then click on “Sign In”.

Step 2: Locate and Delete Scheduled Payment
Click “My Account,” then select “Bills.”
Find the bill that has the scheduled payment you want to remove.
Click the delete option next to the scheduled payment (i.e. garbage can icon).

Step 3: Confirm Deletion
A confirmation message will appear.
Click “Yes” to proceed.

Step 4: Verify
The scheduled payment details (amount, payment method, and date) will no longer appear on your bill.
