Charter Township of Northville is recruiting for the following position:

TITLE: Facilities Manager

REPORTS TO: Director of Public Services

SUMMARY OF DUTIES: This supervisory position is in charge of the Facilities Management Division. The individual is responsible for effectively planning, organizing, and directing the day to day maintenance, repair, and renovation of Township facilities and related equipment. Ensures that jobs are completed efficiently and within regulatory guidelines and projected deadlines. Prepares and maintains budgets ensuring optimal utilization of personnel and other resources.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Building Management or related field or a combination of an Associate’s degree and completion of technical certification are preferred.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of five years technical and field training in building and building mechanical equipment maintenance/repair. Minimum of five years progressively skilled and responsible mechanical and building maintenance experience or equivalent combination of training and experience. 

SKILLS: Considerable knowledge of the methods, materials, tools, and procedures used in alteration and maintenance of facilities and equipment. A working knowledge of building trades, HVAC technology, and energy conservation.

COMPENSATION: Salary range: $70,000 - $80,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
