Records Bureau
Police reports generally take three (3) working days to reach the
Records Bureau and to become available to the public. There is a
charge for copies of reports so we encourage you to have your
insurance company request the report. Fees are as follows:
Police Reports
All Police Reports: $4.00 for the first page
Additional Pages: $1.00 each page
Accident Reports: $5.00

Police Clearance Letters
Clearance Letters are provided free of charge to residents of
Northville Township. Clearance letters for employment are typically
completed at the time of request during regular business hours.
Clearance letters for adoptive parents must be signed by the Director
or his designee and notarized. Please allow up to three days to
process these requests.
Freedom of Information Requests
It is the policy of Northville Township Police Department to
release information under the Freedom of Information Act. Information
may be requested in four ways:
