Common Complaints
For complaints regarding the following subjects, please call the
Township Ordinance Enforcement Department at (248) 662-0499 or by
e-mail ordinance@twp.northville.mi.us.
Junk Vehicles - Unlicensed, inoperable, dismantled and or abandoned
vehicles are not allowed anywhere on private property unless housed
within a garage.
Unsanitary Conditions - Trash, debris, miscellaneous junk, stagnant
water, improper storage etc. is not permitted.
Illegal Storage - Motor homes, travel trailers, snowmobiles, and
boats may be stored in the rear yard only. Commercial vehicles may not
be stored anywhere on residential property. (Note: Check with your
home owners association regarding storage in your area.)
Weed Complaints - Weeds on developed lots that exceed 10" in height
are in violation.
